The world's need for music

Amidst burgeoning darkness, distractions, and dismay

throughout the earth, we at Arrowhead are compelled by

a profound conviction that both the Church and the world

are in desperate need of real, transformative connection

with Jesus. It is here that humanity discovers our ultimate

purpose: To daily live in wholehearted love for Christ and

joyful obedience to God.

Before Jesus’ return, Scripture is clear: Not only will

all the nations of the earth encounter the knowledge of

God, but the Church will mature in love and obedience.

Surely it is no accident that music has an unparalleled

ability to evoke emotion, influence physiology, and

forge connection. Songs we regularly listen to can

become the “soundtracks of our lives.”

Music hastens Jesus' return

The Bible clearly commands God’s people to sing hymns,

songs, and spiritual songs to one another and the Lord.

Music That Hastens

Our mission is to steward the powerful gift of music

and song—by filling the earth with love songs to Jesus.

Songs that minister to God, partner with His purposes

in our lives, and hasten His Son’s return!

Colossians 3:16

“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly

in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing

one another in psalms and hymns and

spiritual songs, singing with grace

in your hearts to the Lord.”

Our Story

Why “Arrowhead”

The Old Testament prophet Isaiah likens the Messiah to a polished arrow (Isa 49:2), carefully shaped, refined,

and prepared for its purpose. In the same way, Jesus was made ready through His earthly life and death on the cross —by enduring suffering with unwavering obedience. Like an arrow in the hands of a master archer, the Son has been prepared by the Father for His end-time mission.

At Arrowhead, we are responding to Jesus’ clear words in Luke 10:42 that “one thing is needed.” Namely, “to behold the beauty of the Lord” (Psalm 27:4). Encountering Jesus’ beauty through the universal language of

music yields a powerful transformation the Church and world desperately need.

As a record label for the house of prayer, we aim to write, record, and produce beautiful music as we follow

God’s command to sing psalms and spiritual songs to the Lord and one another. We desire to connect people with God, knowing this will deepen love for His Son and strengthen obedience to His Word, both of which hasten Jesus’ return to fulfill God’s purposes on the earth.

When God spoke through a billboard

Jonas and Laura Park, founders of Arrowhead, have spent more than two decades ministering to God

in prayer room contexts, serving as full-time worship leaders even before marrying in 2014.

A few years into marriage, they felt stirred by God to start a music label as a way to fill the earth with

love songs to Jesus—especially the songs being birthed through houses of prayer.

In faith, they launched Arrowhead in 2019. And it just so happened to be around the time Jonas’ beloved

Toyota 4Runner was totaled—which seemed symbolic because he had also just finished up his season

working for another music label called Forerunner Music.

Sensing transition, Laura began secretly praying, “Lord, let Jonas’ next vehicle be a sign of Your

direction for us.” They knew God had plans for them, but weren’t sure what direction they would take.

They wondered if they’d even remain in Kansas City.

An unexpected sign

Months later, they found a new truck for Jonas in North Kansas City. The night before picking it up, they

had a heartfelt conversation about their family’s future and calling, and they asked God again for clarity.

While Jonas drove the truck home, he and Laura chatted on the phone—she was following him in the van

with the kids. And that’s when she finally shared her prayer for the vehicle to be a sign from the Lord.

As they passed Arrowhead Stadium, they joked, “Maybe that’s the sign?”

Seconds later, they saw the very salvage yard where the 4Runner had been towed. Laura laughed,

“Goodbye, 4Runner!”

Just then, Jonas looked up and saw a billboard next to the lot that read: “Your next move?

Follow the Arrow, Park.” It was a joint ad for the Kansas City Chiefs and Park University.

Follow the Arrow

The message hit deeply. “Follow the Arrow” not only echoed the name Arrowhead Records, but carried

spiritual weight: Isaiah 49:2 describes Jesus as the polished arrow in the Father’s quiver. “Park” was

their family name.

In a moment, Laura’s prayer was answered: God was telling the Park family to follow Jesus, the Arrow.

And launching Arrowhead was the right move.

Today, Jonas and Laura continue to lead worship in the house of prayer in addition to running Arrowhead.

They love following Jesus wherever He leads—and they are grateful He has entrusted them with a music

label that has built a community of believers with whom they break bread, raise kids, sing psalms and

spiritual songs, write music, and fill the earth with love songs to Jesus.
